Jonathan Zayas, Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jonathan "JJ" Zayas, Jr., 15, of Pennsauken, passed away, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Cooper Hospital, Camden, NJ. He was born and raised in Camden, NJ in 2006 to Jonathan Sr. and Cassandra (Martinez) Zayas. Besides his parents, he leaves behind to cherish his memory, his paternal grandparents, Luis Burgos and Rosalinda Rodriguez, his maternal grandparents, Bianca and Dominic Cardellia, his siblings, Freddy Zayas, Nathan Zayas and Andre Zayas, as well as, many loving family and friends. "JJ HERE" always was announced when he entered a room. Always goofing around, he loved a good practical joke, listening to his music and he would eat anything and everything placed in front of him. He loved his Big Ripper SC Bike and he was a loyal member of the biking group, "Jersey Bike Life". JJ was a go-getter, even at a young age, he worked at McDonalds and saved the money to buy his bicycle. He played football for the Stanley Park Panthers, wearing his favorite number "22", and because his uncle, Joshua was such a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan, JJ, also became the Steelers, #1 fan. A visitation will be Tuesday, July 19, 2022 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Funeraria Hernandez, 2426 Cove Road, Pennsauken, NJ 08109, with a funeral service to follow. Cremation will be private.
