Richard Rodriguez, age 62, of Camden, NJ, passed away on December 6, 2020. He was born to the late Marcelino Rodriguez and Carmen Rodriguez in Brooklyn, NY. Before his retirement, Richard worked as a driver for RXD pharmacy. Known for his pranks and comedic relief, he was a real show stopper and lit up any room with his infectious smile. Richard was the life of party with his positive personality. He will be remembered as a hard worker and jack of all trades. Most of all, he was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed. Richard is predeceased by his son, Carlos Rodriguez and siblings, Marcelino Rodriguez, Eddie Rodriguez, Angelo Rodriguez, Ralphie Rodriguez, Lisa Narciso, Tina Daly, and Gladys Rodriguez. He is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Elsa Rodriguez; children, Richard Rodriguez, Edwin Rodriguez, David Rodriguez, Lisa Rivera Camacho, Andy Rodriguez, Christina Rodriguez, Recardo Rodriguez, Albert McDowell, Adam McDowell, and Angelina McDowell; siblings, Elba Rodriguez, Nilsa Rodriguez, Norma Rodriguez, Miriam Rodriguez, and Milly Gonzalez; many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of additional family members and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 10am-12pm at Funeraria Hernandez, located at 2426 Cove Rd., Pennsauken, NJ 08109. Due to current gathering restrictions, the funeral service at 12pm will be for immediate family only. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Cherry Hill, NJ.
